旭川冬まつり大雪像作成に第1回目から携わった陸上自衛隊第２師団（旭川駐屯地）。歴代の雪像の写真とデザイン決定から雪像完成迄の工程を隊員の活動写真を交えながら、雪像の変遷をお伝えします。

 

 

Asahikawa Winter Festival: Giant Snow Sculptures and Self-Defense Forces

 

The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) 2nd Division, stationed in Asahikawa, has participated in creating giant snow sculptures for the Asahikawa Winter Festival ever since it was first held. This event highlights the evolution of the snow sculptures by showcasing photos of historical snow sculptures, the process of sculpture-making from deciding on designs to bringing the sculptures to completion, and photos of the troops in action.
