旭川木のモノ組合が発足して５０年。家具と木工の街・旭川で、木製のクラフト製品を生み出してきた個性豊かなメンバーが、palemtaオリジナル商品『ki-ita 自分で削る木のスプーン』を削って魅せるADW2024特別企画展です。

 

 

Wooden Spoons Whittled by Craftsmen from the Asahikawa Ki no Mono Kumiai

 

 

This year marks 50 years since the establishment of the Asahikawa Ki no Mono Kumiai (Asahikawa Wooden Crafts Association). The members of this association, each with their own distinctive flair, have been creating wooden handcrafted products in Asahikawa, a city known for its furniture and woodworking. This ADW 2024, these craftsmen will demonstrate the art of carving wooden spoons using the palemta original product, ‘ki-ita: whittle-it-yourself wooden spoon’.
